@Westbound23 at one time C&O would hold auctions up the street here at the RR yard. My father in law use buy vehicles from them and flip them or use them, usually kept the dump trucks since they owned a excavation company. Anyway... my brother in law bought an old American Crane off of them at auction. He took the the boom off except for the section mounted to crane, and prepared it for transport. The undercarriage was perfect since it was mounted on a flat car since new, never did get moved on its own power. Anyways, he decided that rather than load it and transport it he would do the next best thing lol..... Yep, he drove it home down Main Street on a early Sunday morning lol. Ended up getting a visit later from the law too , they told him it wasn’t hard to track....!!

 

I would like to impress the Mrs, but don't wanna read the whole book. Do you have Cliff notes, or your notes. I will tell her you are helping me with somethings.
