Lots of times if they didn't have a set of feeler gauges handy, folks would grab a pack of matches and use the cover as a rough feeler gauge. 20 thousandths I think ? By the time I had something to drive the HEI distributors were around on the new stuff.Last edited: Jun 7, 2019

You ever play with Keenex or however you spell it? Used to love those as a kid. Preferred them to Legos.

Went and looked it up. Appx. 20 thousandths. 15 to 20 seems to be the recommendation for a lot of those distributors from what I just saw.

They were made a few miles from us here in Pa, but the Company was sold to a Florida Company in 2018
