    If it’s a plastic truck with a wind fairing up top, and they run their own antenna, they tilt it to keep the reflect and swr’s down. I’ve had to do that on several trucks. If it’s a chicken truck some of them do it for the looks, more so than practicality.

    Correct.... I used a folding matchbook many times to gap the points on a Briggs & Stratton engine, gets you real close.

    I never owned a vehicle with HEI ignition till I was in my 20’s. Grew up with points distributors and magnetos. Bought a 79 Chevy Scottsdale, had HEI, first vehicle with it.

    That’s funny lol!!!! I use to carry points in my 67 F100 too :), that was back when it still had the 3 in the tree with 6 in a row to make it go. ;) I later installed a V8 from a 65 Ford Custom, looked like a Galaxy.
