Leave out the alpha beta whatever bullfeathers.

Why do women either settle or are attracted to weaker men?

I have two younger sisters one older. The oldest is dating a computer website designer. The next younger is dating a realtor. The youngest is dating a I forget what maybe a salesman.

Now I'm not saying you can't be a Man and work those jobs. Far from it. However if you needed a light bulb changed the three boyfriends might need to have a group chat to try to figure it out.

I'm not saying you need to be able to back a trailer, light a fire, paddle a canoe, change a light fixture, change a flat tire, shut off the water and fix a plumbing leak, shingle a roof and know how to light a hot water heater to be a man. But, that puts you on a pretty good starting path to getting there.

That's it, right there. Used to be, it was common knowledge concerning what made a Man. Now, we have generations raised without any manly influence. Their fathers are either weak, effeminate overgrown children, or completely absent. (You can lay the blame squarely at the feet of no-fault divorce and feminism.) So now, in desperation, the males of today who aren't completely lost, who aren't totally corrupted by the anti-male propaganda shoved up our butts 24/7...are desperately trying to figure out how to be a Man, with none of the family or cultural guidance they used to have.

It's up to Men to find them and teach them, because that's what we do. It's what God designed us to do. And we're needed now like never before.

My definition of a man is one that does what ever it takes to see to it his family has what they need. Then throws in extra sacrifice to give them things they want because he wants to.

The definition of courage is being scared as hell, but continuing any wat.

FWIW that can also be the definition of stupid. Know when to go and when to hold is definition of smart

Try going to the bodybuilding forums. Any guy who doesn't have 16+ inch biceps and is nailing three supermodels a week is a "Beta" lol.

I don't buy into that alpha-beta ####. To me, being "manly" isn't neccessarily being able to wrestle a bear, grow a beard, or wittle a toothpick out of a tree you karate-chopped down while wrestling said bear. Its about putting your best effort into every challenge you take on, being humble about your accomplishments, owning your failures and becoming a better person every day.

Amen, bro. I drive a truck, ride a Harley, pack a gun, have tats and am in pretty good shape from moving freight, but I don't think I'm anyone's idea of a macho dude. Being a Man is about more than being tough and built--if that were the case, Six would have torn his uncle's arm off and bragged about it. Those who think it's all about the physical toughness, wouldn't know Manliness if it slapped 'em upside the head.

I like to think honor and integrity play a big part in that as well.

Parked for the night at the Petro in Egan on the 10.

''Twas hoping to make it to the Petro in West Knoxville tomorrow night but I think that's justtttt outta reach. Will probably settle for a rest area up on the 75 past Chattanooga.
