I was going to do the secondary latch one when I was looking for one to buy. The pull rating and load rating wasn't any different if I remember. But I liked the idea of a second lock bar.

 

Yeah, I wasn’t necessarily sold on it but can’t hurt.

 

I been passing within a few miles of Truck World in these NY runs, been entertaining the thought of stopping and having some Cheesecake lol....

 

I could only imagine a mega company with compression releases on their trucks today lol...... let’s add air starters while we’re at it .

You thinking the plant in Kenosha, WI?.... I went looking to see what they produced, but I almost think this was imported from Germany - all the script was in German & the measures were in grams.

Stomach thought my throat was slit , turned out to be a bad choice in food . Kay’s place was closed and so was my stop down on 44 between 77 and 62, kinda left me with fewer choices.

 

Old C/F trucks had the air starters back in the day. I made the mistake of parking beside one once to take a nap. Once that starter button was hit......i was wide awake !!

 

Got through the Rodeo last night, only hitch was after the show I was coming back for another load of spectators, when some A hole just missed my grandson with a dam egg!!! It hit my generator which was only the width of a haybail from him! Our police dept went looking for them but it was to dark I guess, never heard anything more.

 

I can see it now ! Some dang hillbilly riding a green farm tractor full bore ,spectators Hangin on fer dear life as he runs down the perp. ! LOL
