Hey I got a question that maybe you’ll know. I’m familiar with Pete’s but not like you are, at Louisville they had an 87 359 that has air cleaners like a 379. Did they make some that way?

The outlook is bleak considering the two trucks directly in front of you. And you can’t pull the “Freymiller shoulder passing Swift” routine since the Tahoe is in the way.

I have seen that alot around my area. When I done my 85 the stainless factory style cans were about 600 higher than the 379 cans. So some do it for cost I'm sure becsuse they are a direct fit. I would say its real possible some 87's had the 379 can because they produced both trucks that year. As far as a straight answer I don't know is all I got

No you just turn the can to let the hose line up then tighten the straps back up. Also it just came to me the mounting brackets are different, you can use either can inside the straps

I’m with ya, this one didn’t have the elbows going around into the hood they were just like the 379.

Well I went out bobtail and ran her up till I done run out of numbers and it didn't shake me off the road. So maybe I have the vibration fixed for now. These roads are so rough it was kinda hard to dicifer....And that #### low air was beeping at me the whole time. That's next on the agenda.
