Richard?..... I recall something about Tom Petty being a sex-bot.... and Millennials getting all hip with 'You Don't Have To Live Like a Refugee'... Both of them sound like strange excursions into the Moose mind... 100% believable.

 

@KillingTime . Wife can't have kids so no bio kids. Looked into ivf, lots of money, started looking into adoption. Was told 20000 average per kid. Was suggested to look into foster care. Lots of stupid hoops and rules. Then you realize most of the rules are because of what stupid people have done. Makes you want to cry. Wife quit her job at noon on a Friday and was heading home with 3 little girls by 2:30. Found out later social worker didn't think we would make it two weeks. She was a great worker but they can't give you the whole back story before hand. Anyway one half sister and two full sisters all under 6 with a bad case of lice. Kids had the highest amount of meth in their system the hospital had ever seen in kids. That's the part we couldn't be told earlier. Six months later the half sister went back to her father. Couple months after that we were told their mother got pregnant before she was convicted and sent to jail, wondered if we were interested in another girl. Got to pick her up from the hospital. Adopted all 3 six years ago. Beautiful happy healthy girls I wouldn't trade the world for.
Lots of times you hear horror stories about foster care but that was not my experience at all. Sorry for the rambling but to anyone who might be interested, I would definitely look into it as an option for kids.

A girl I went to school with did the same thing as you. That’s awesome. We talked about doing it, then the wife got pregnant with twins. Which is enough
