Funny, that makes me think of my childhood.........used to swim a lot and would occasionally get swimmers ear, whatever that is. My Mom would warm up vinegar to the perfect temperature somehow and drip some in my ear with my head turned sideways. I remember that it felt sooooooo soothing.
I hadn't thought of that since I can't remember when.

Peroxide...
My daughter has had more peroxide in her ears then she's ever had on wounds. She's been swimming before she could walk. That girl would just lay in the water till you drag her out. I've never seen anyone as buoyant as her. She was always dumping peroxide in her ears to get the water out.
FYI I sink like a rock but mama is a fish too....1951 ford, Feedman, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 8 others Thank this. -
Serious question. How do I log anything with a ELD when I'm not in the truck? They didn't think that #### through, did they?
Or... do I need to get to this truck tomorrow morning and spend my first thirty minutes editing the #### outta the logs? Nah. #### that.1951 ford, Feedman, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 6 others Thank this. -
Busy lining up the scantily clad models for the calendar photo shoot?IH Truck Guy, 7-UP, 1951 ford and 13 others Thank this.

I was kinda wondering about that when you mentioned rescuing trucks. Are you supposed pack the unit with you from truck to truck?
Obviously I know nothing about them......for all I know ELD stands for making a normal day an Extra Long Day!7-UP, 1951 ford, 4mer trucker and 7 others Thank this. -
I
All our QC units are wired into each truck. And then wired into the ECM. You can't just take them and carry them around like you can a paper log...
Normally? Non issue. But Ron got me thinking... if I hypothetically need to be logging my time during my flights as on duty. How in the #### am I supposed to do that? Do I gotta write it down on paper and then edit my logs when I get to the truck before approval? Good grief.
The units should sink. Once I sign in to this truck tomorrow my logs from my 660 will update and sync to the new truck.... that being said I've been off duty since Sunday afternoon. I can't log anything when I can't reach the ELD...
Idk man. Someone didn't think all this crap through

Believe you me they have had meeting after meeting about times like these. They just chose to ignore it and suffer the pain by blaming you if Something goes wrong.1951 ford, 4mer trucker, SAR and 6 others Thank this.

Everything I've heard about Taurus (never having owned one myself) says that you'll either have an awesome gun or a piece of used food. It's 50/50. If it's cheap but it works, rock on. If it's cheap and it's crap, you didn't spend much.
Either way, good find!1951 ford, shogun, MACK E-6 and 1 other person Thank this.
