Sorry, bad day at work......Retirement and the seclusion I envision coming with it can't get here fast enough.

I never watch the national news but it was on after I got home and I was here catching up so I let it go, unfortunately. I hear about a rally at Capital Hill for reparations for slaves families. Some of the folks are saying justice won't be done until payments are made.......show me the money!!!

A girl in Alaska killed her best friend because some guy in Indiana, that she had never met, offered her 9 million dollars to do it. She got some guy to help her out. They went out to hike, bound her up with duct tape and shot her in the head.

The oil tanker deal over in the Indian Ocean or the Straights of Hormuz or wherever it is. Navy claims it was a mine, the people on the boat says it was a missile/rocket. The hole is about 4 ft above the water line, sure doesn't make sense to me. I always thought mines were under water, but what do I know, I spent my time in the air.

David Ortiz, formerly of the Red Sox and a really good guy imo, was not the intended target when he was shot on the Dominican Republic. Bunch of guys arrested.

It wasn't all bad. The final story was about a 103 yr old young lady, Julia "Hurricane" Hawkins. She competes in the Senior Olympics and has set world records in the 50 and 100 yd dashes......if that's what you want to call it, lol.



My hat is off to her and the other participants. At this point I just hope I can get up off the couch without any help after I retire.

Idk. I've never had a iPhone, but I bet their just as bad. Their all a pain when they break down.

 

I got one. Stays off most of the time. We run uhf at the mill so doesnt do much good.
