I noticed years ago that the cattle haulers and cowpimps would wear button up long sleeve shirts and denims that were starched and pressed. And a Stetson hat. The pride was not only in the truck, but the clothing.

When I started driving, I delivered beer and then food service. Of course we wore uniforms. For beer, we wore polo shirts and dickie pants. Food service, the shirts were button up short sleeve with your name on them

When I started long haul, the guys I ran with were all 20-30 years older than me. They wore the old guy uniforms. When I transitioned to open deck, they wore the same uniform, but had coveralls to keep them clean. I used to wear orange coveralls, but I realized that being ugly and walking into diners with orange coveralls is a good way to get dead.

The reason why so many wear sweatpants is so they can piss in a cup going down the road and fling it out the window. Nasty habit. When you look at a white truck, look for the yellow stains to the rear of the driver door.

I admire your ambition, most guys won’t go through the trouble to empty their pee bottle they just throw it out in the lot. You’re a great example.

This is why we do vehicle inspections.

Of course the only place that had a new one was 120 miles away, and cost $140. The local Napa wanted $320 for one. #### criminals.

That’s not helping. So try a triangulation. Who on this thread would you say is the most “normal” and what would you rate this person in normality on a scale of 1-10. Then do the same for the least normal. And then for the 3rd person, rate your best friend on the same scale.
