My great uncle that raised me ( far right top pic / holding guitar bottom pic ) always wore a under shirt, and a long sleeve button up shirt over it. No matter how hit it was, you never seen him in a T shirt nor shorts of any kind. Probably why I’m not into shorts on a daily basis. Every morning he washed his face, used a little Brylcream, and got dressed for the day in those long sleeves.

I remember him pulling off to the side of the road and lifting the hood, just to disguise what he was doing if he needed to tap his kidneys.
Being back in the hills miles from parts stores or gas stations, you always carry tools and fuel or fuel cans to help get you through. I remember him talking about driving a company Army 6x6 to town before heading tonlbthe job.... this was 1950’s? As he filled the fuel cans for the core drill, he noticed something running out from under the cab. Worried he got to looking and found it was coming from top of the transmission, it was then he realized what was going on..... his helper was a “slacker”, just lazy!! I never knew uncle Lester to not have a syphon hose, well the slacker had shoved the syphon hose through a crack in the shifter boot, and with aid of an old funnel he relieved his kidneys!

It continues today with a newer breed of slackers, and their piss bottles.

Triangulation of where 55, 39 and 74 meet. Just above Bloomington.

Right there in Illinois, where it's been since 1865.

    Just rolled into Missoula.

Thinking just Petro Spokane from here... don’t feel like pushing to Ellensburg.

Can easily do that in the morning and then make Burlington before Seattle is a clusterduck.
