My delima is I like old school way to much. I bought my fair share of projects.
It's pretty bad I cruise back roads looking for any of the big 3.
I have added Kw and Pete to this since they have ban registration of any commercial diesel prior to 2015. In the commie-fornia area. So I have scene tons just sitting since these guys can't sell them here.

I'm trying to sweet talk an ol' boy out of his red Pete. He wants to retire, but it's been 3 yrs and I'm still hoping he will call me first when he sells.
I have a "judge" as well who doesn't like me collecting more and more projects.

I just can't let a classic go-to the junk yard. No matter what big 3 it's from.

 

Exactly!! And this is why I don't pile on the young guys building ricers. Who can afford any of the classics? Shoot the stuff we were paying$500 and a thousand dollars for in high school are 15k now! (Thanks alot Barrett Jackson)

 

I have one that had a barn fall on it.
But it's complete.

That's a downfall..... I feel it can be saved.

 

The classic car market is insane, and @BigBob410 hit the nail on the head. Auction companies like Barrett Jackson are culprits because people see these pristine examples going for high prices, and so they think the clapped out piece of crap they have rotting in their back yard is a gold mine as well.

Also kind of funny when people pick up a car, after paying too much, and then want a restoration done on it. "IT'S GONNA COST HOW MUCH?!? BUT I'M ALREADY TWENTY GRAND INTO IT!"
