I watched KungFu religiously. Back then, I didn't understand it...I just liked the way that Caine would kick people in the mouth with bare feet. But for the life of me, I couldn't understand how a grown man would answer to "Grasshopper."

My grandfather, WWII vet, sgt in the army, oldest of a large family, dad died young, his mom was the meanest person I'd ever met in life, was always calm. Even his mom couldn't stand up to him. Pops would tell his mom to calm down and she would become as docile as a lamb. If my grandfather had called me Grasshopper, I would have been honored.

It's funny, when you're young, you worry about how you stack up to the next guy. Walk around trying to be all tough, trying to get stupid girls to like you, worried about appearing dumb or geeky, buying clothes to be "in." And like @stwik mentioned yesterday, getting all tattooed up. It doesn't mean a thing. Buying trendy clothes, getting a stupid hairdo, acting a certain way, talking a certain way to impress others, spending money on meaningless tats...it's all in vain. You will still be the same person.

In the video clips, the Master is always teaching his pupil the more important things than fighting. Even in the kungfu movies.

What sold me was the stero not being cutout for the 80's sleeved radios.
I know I'm a sucker for the simple things. Oh. It's also a 69 they swapped the front end to a 70 back in the day.

 

We haven’t had trouble on our C15’s but our C13’s come lose. We noticed one of our newer ones had a bracket so we copied it. Pretty simple to make.
