It's been floating around 100 degrees here for awhile. Meanwhile back at home some of our fishing spots are finally warming up enough for the ice to break. That's Lily Lake up in the Uinta mountains.
Truck has seemed to be a bit doggy lately. Still was making normal boost on a hard pull, but seemed a bit weak and sluggish with normal driving. So finally got around to building some caps to pressure test things. Sure enough. Air to air was good but it was leaking bad out of every boot. They was only 4 yrs and good n tight or so it seemed... Guy learns something new every day. Don't trust yer clamps!
Welding on that pipe brought back some high school memories. Our shop teacher pretty well left us farm kids alone to do our thing. One day we was bored and causing trouble, so he told us to go clean the lower shop. In the process we come across some chunks of pipe. One thing let to another and next thing you know we got a potato gun welded up. It just so happened the ffa had just got their fruit boxes dropped off. Ever wonder what an apple will do to a football scoreboard when shot out of a acetylene powered Spud gun? It ain't pretty! Lol. Got a couple days unpaid leave for that one. Now days the FBI would be hunting us down... Life was fun back then.
