So. Let me get this straight here... and since I won’t word this eloquently... @Czar_Zero you're gonna need to translate for yourself.

I can’t share a joke, that I didn’t write about AOC, without you thinking I don’t respect her.

I also can’t respect a women(s) in a song, who went on to become a multi-millionaire(s) (whether or not the song was about her in a past time is another argument altogether), because of said joke... because it’s a double standard.




It’s almost as if these two things... can be joked about and supported in their own rights? No? Are they not two completely different women from completely different points in history?

AOC is a college graduate. Not an easy school to be accepted to, much less graduate from....I’m sure she knows the difference between a Civic and a Camry. Oddly, you assume she knows nothing about cars? Right. She might not be your mechanic someday but I’m sure she knows crap about cars.

What’s more odd, is you think jokes mean I can’t ever support someone? Sure, I’m not AOC’s biggest fan — mostly due to her politics — but I’m sure you pit her against the right opponent I’ll take her side. I think, the jokes point, was that she can say some really mind-boggling leftist leaning cows are killing are planet ########, and people believe it (or at least they believe that SHE and her staff believes it), so is the joke really that far-fetched? No, I don’t think so. “Let’s make up some really weird nonsense and put AOC under it looking as if she said it.” But hey, I’m just the dumb kid here.

What bothers me is you think I don’t respect her, probably on a personal level... which is interesting. I presume you don’t attend comedy standup acts too often, probably a good thing, for the safety of the comic. You might pull a blade or something while projecting your Manhood and how you care about the double standard.

TLC is a group... don’t know how many... but I do know they all went on to enjoy commercial success... and yet... if it wasn’t for some high school friends I would’ve never known about them. Shame. I personally, am not their biggest fan, but can still understand that a “scrub” might hit on them, and other women, while riding in his best friends car. Yes, he could be a dead beat, as far as I’m concerned. THAT doesn’t make all women princess and queens — no. It’s almost as if women can be as craptastic as men? And vice versa... But I’ll give a young TLC the benefit of the doubt. Where’s the song from the scrubs perspective? Guess he never made it, huh? Odd. Guess we will never know. Guess TLC was just waiting on that bus...

As much as that’s true. The latter is also a very real scenario in this world — the deadbeat guy. The deadbeat dad, even. I believe a few of you even shared posts about it recently? Whether you care for your dad or not is completely besides the point, and not my business altogether, but some guys are just... bad fathers. Don’t have anything going for them in life. No positive qualities. And above all else, completely unwilling to change. I know a few like that. Knew. Saw it coming in high school. I can totally picture them riding in their best friends car car-calling women in Ybor City Florida right now... but no!!!... there ride-sharing an Uber. You’re right. The scrub has two pennies to rub together, how could I forget!

As far as the double standard goes... sure. Women are not as physically powerful as males. That’s a known fact. Yet, my generation seems hellbent on proving otherwise - HAH! - just look at recent involvements in UFC? Female goes through a sex change and beats the #### out of dominating females?! Who woulda thunk. If that’s the case... I’m willing to cut them some slack on the heavy lifting, personally. You can’t have it both ways. We can’t acknowledge that we’re the stronger sex and then expect them to keep up? The military is an interesting topic? Yet, the laws of nature still stand? Don’t expect them to be as good as the best male. For every lazy female I’ve worked with there’s been a lazy male... it’s a pretty equal split in my experience. What I don’t like — is women will get cut more slack than the male. I don’t like that. That’s when it becomes unfair.
