I just got back to the plant here in Midland. As I was parking on our little corner of the yard I got a text from the Landstar dude who picked up that stepdeck back in May.

Wanted to know (at just after midnight on what is now Friday morning) if I knew what Landstar would think of him finding his own freight. Poor dumbbasstard took a load from Indy to Denver for less money than I made just today.

When I last saw him I gave him half a dozen agent contacts and some examples of lanes I used to run.

I hate to see a guy struggling but some people are beyond help. Especially when they won't help themselves.

 

Just now gettin caught up from the past couple days. @BigBob410 man I hope all goes well there partner. Prayers for you and yours.
