Sounds like you had fun!
Went to another last night in my hometown, but this was a ranch rodeo. A little different than typical, and included Indian relay horse racing. That gets a little Western!

That's way cool that Grimey posted a pic of his relatives and didn't even know it.
Thanks for clearing that up JD.Al. Roper, OLDSKOOLERnWV, exhausted379 and 12 others Thank this. -
I'm also quoting for context, mainly to thank everyone again for posting up a dozen different ways one would approach such a project. The cost/effort was all over the place as expected, mainly influenced by options/upgrades and to a some degree zoning/government influences regarding commercial structures.
I studied the online photos of the subject building in my OP about this, and clearly see a wood frame with metal siding. So not what would be considered a "metal building," but better constructed than what comes to my mind when people describe a "pole shed." So my apologies in possibly over-stating what it was when I said metal building. To be fair, for an outbuilding/shop that's on a 5-10 acre lot zoned for light ag/residential, it's appropriate just bigger and better equipped than most. It would never pass muster on a commercial property. That said, everyone's contributions have given me better perspective on what I'm looking at with this property, along with others I'll no doubt stumble across while looking. -
