I have suits. Even have a tux or two. Cuff links too. I do enjoy black tie events, and I can even cut the rug. But those are special occasions. If I am working, I am in uniform. Black tee, denim jeans, steel toe boots.
If I am not at work, custom tees, black jeans, pointed toe boots, a hoodie or leather vest, depending on the weather.
Lots of people in this business think that shippers and receivers don't pay attention to us or the trucks. That's NOT true. I get asked all the time if I had been in a place before. Drivers are a dime a dozen, right?
"No sir, that's not true...I remember meeting you. I remember your truck. You stand out. You're a pretty good hand."
And here I thought I was just doing my job. Gots to be more careful.

Well the TSA finally managed to nag my pocket knife from me in Birmingham. Been through 4 TSA security checks in the past week and a half, the fifth one finally catches the knife.
I’m sure I’m on some list somewhere now, right?
Will have to buy another when I get back to Tulsa... maybe I’ll swing down to the Bass Pro

I don't have any suits but I do have a tux. When we had the dj service I played alot of weddings so it was the uniform. Everything else I wore my company coat.

You do it too with the custom tees.
I have a slip on shoe that I wear at the house. My nice stuff I wear on the bike. Those pointed toe boots are the most expensive shoe I've ever purchased, but they look great! Hard to explain...they're look like they're a worn out grey suede, but they looked that way brand new.
I do have a pair of flip flops that I carry in my shower bag. They do have their uses. On a long ride, I wear my boots. Space is limited and so, the only thing I have besides my boots are flip flops. Some times, I will stop at a place with a swimming hole. Can't walk from the room to the pool barefoot and the boots would look utterly ridiculous with swimming attire, so the flip flops fit the bill.
