I went over there last week. The ####in engine is massive. He was asking how I thought he should extend the hood. I told him I thought it would be easier and probably meaner looking if he built a gull wing hood like on a C500 kw.

Hahaha that would look good. Section it from another I guess. The grubster will know. Now I have some counter balance, but I wouldnt wanna have to tilt that everyday to check oil. I know Zero about a v12 cat. Whats the expected fuel economy GPM gallons per mile?

That has been a retirement dream project for me, a Pete 351 with a C32.

My idea is to leave the sides off the hood and have the cylinder banks hangin out. The rad shell would just be CAC, rad in back of the cab with ducted fans.

That what he was going to do. He has some air clyinders to help till. I think it will look janky because he plans on making it a set back axle. Gull wing with diamond plate aluminum fendersis how I would go. No clue to the fuel consumption. Wouldn’t figure more than 2 or 3. He thinks he can get 4.

So I guess there's a place down here that will change your oil and sell you a cigar while practicing witchcraft. Talk about a niche market.

Set back axle is going to make it handle like a hog not a pig, even set forward maybe a 16K axle. Is the engine a 34 or 36? they are all heavy 6k or so for 3412 or C32.
