Sounds like ya got a good plan goin! Yeah, them Double Humps aint nothin but cool doorstops nowadays. Aint sure what the machine work goes for as we have our sponsor NAPA do em, but we bore n hone our own . If its just a quick cruiser, hydraulic cam all day long. Less upkeep an easier on the valvetrain. A hyd roller would be the way to go. What ya gonna be using for pistons? Ya can bump the compression up a bit with them aluminium heads.

This was Dads 1974 repainted with him and Ed Dicksons rendering of the Cascade. All paint from Kenworth Chillicothe, but non left the factory like this. Someones son worked there and got a deal on the paint.... Ive put it up before, but finally found a close front view.
