I got started sanding and buffing off the loose paint but haven't started painting it yet. The current task is to strip everything off of the old truck and send it in for sandblasting the frame and repainting it. Then we'll bring it back and put the engine and new tranny back in. We are also getting the lowboy blasted and painted to match.

I had tickets a few years ago...I was sick but my wife and her sister went. In a three thousand seat place and they were in about row ten. We were gonna go see him again but he passed before he could make the show. The one that gets me is “In Color” by Jammie Johnson.
Had a conversation just like that with my grandpa about 35 years ago. He was born in 1919 and only had one job his entire life. Hauled gasoline for Standard oil. Like in trucks before they had doors. Him (bernie) and his brother Otis Heft home at 15 and 16 and joined the army.
Married to one woman since he was 18. -
