I have 7 toolboxes still almost full. I’ve given a lot away to family and friends. No way I can use them in my lifetime. There are many I have no idea what they are for. The old wrenches are so cool. I think about how hard life was for them in those mountains and yet they had Snap On. Wonder if they were overpriced back then

They built homes, one was a very good carpenter , one was a licensed electrician #3 was slow but could fix anything. He handled the home front and the still because their work was usually a day from home.

It’s hard to imagine it could have been over priced given its 90 yrs old AND they’re sending you a free repair kit. Lol

Looks like I’ve missed a lot today. Go to work, come back and half the class got expelled.

Man....sitting in Beaumont, TX trying to keep up with you guys and it seems the Ban Hammer fell hard today. Maybe it's just me but #5 seems to be a pretty tight-knit community of guys from all walks of life that enjoy trucks / trucking and for the most part keep it pretty clean and "in house", so why all the prying eyes? I just don't get it and it pi$$es me off that more guys get shown the door for having a little fun. I think some of the administration here needs to get a little thicker skin and not have "rabbit ears" as it pertains to this thread.

    Me neither. I moved it...

Good points. I changed the doubled timbers a little - If I have time, I'll post a pic tomorrow for critique. My 14 clock was burning and I didn't get a chance to see the replies until I was rolling. It was an ugly stack, with the bottom one 6x40 and the 2nd 8.5x25 ish, topped off with the 2 skinny ones. They're pretty sticky judging by how hard they were for lift to straighten them up. Besides, I just have drum brakes :) It's plant to plant so

Now if I only had a white Volvo, I could have just thrown 6 straps without edge protectors and went with it.
