Where is everyone #5

If it's got a decent size table (4' x 8' or bigger) and the plasma cutter, computer and wiring is all there and works, he stole it.
It doesn't take long to get 10K in a quality setup before you buy a plasma and a computer to run it.

 

So what went bad to make it idle up like that?

 

I have 3, but no sand box. It was taken away. He can play in the back yard. Btw #3 is for #metoo

 

Now a quick question for you more experienced hands. Four contact points didn't quite come up to the WLL I needed so I put another chain on the rear where it's heavier and could get better sideways securement. Don't know how well you can see it but what ya think?

 

The ticks and biting bugs on the east coast are way more dangerous than the scorpions here. The snakes keep to themselves - plus it is still the city after all. Golf and shorts on Christmas come at a price.

You are correct, this is like the 4th compressor in 2 years! I was told my accessory drive needed rebuilt since the rear crank bearing was going out on the compressor. I bought the last brand new on the shelf harmonic balancer Cummins had here, and I also bought everything new for the accessory drive..... new accessory shaft, new gear, new bushings, new thrust washers, new seal..., all of it and put it in new with this compressor in September?? I think it was September, we found the receipt for it. So yes it’s not very old at all! If it happens again I’m buying from another parts house, this being a twin cylinder Cummins won’t carry it, done tried and that dog don’t hunt lol.

 

Lol! I made that mistake when I lived in FL. For a few years. Came up to visit my mom for a few days around Christmas and left 70° weather in shorts. Don't know what I was thinking when I got off the plane in Baltimore and it was 30°. I've never been down y'all's way. Just heard a lot of stories. I'm sure half were BS.

 

Pretty good Truckstop right there..... for food anyway.
