I tend to favor the keep it original approach with my own projects. Although that original 6 is kinda wimpy. +1 on a 300 like @jamespmack mentions, I'd go with an EFI late model. It would be original-ish, but more unique than just dropping in a later v8. If you gotta fabricate stuff to make a v8 fit, may as well go great big.

The looks of that truck remind me of the 67 power wagon my uncle drove for years and years. I think his family finally killed it a while back. The story was he put a 440 in it in the early '70's and kept breaking axles and driveshafts for some reason? LOL

First of all thank you for your post. My humor always in good nature with a slight twist to something I don’t know, or understand.

I absolutely could rebuild the brakes, pull the hubs, and diagnose they issue, but since I’m a lowly newb company driver I’m forbidden from it. My comment about the spring was sarcasm, you deftly missed that. I’ve rebuilt everything in my life except transmissions which frankly are black magic and should be only worked on by witches and warlocks.

I will not defend Blu’s comments. Those are his. Nor will I get a measuring stick to match myself against those who were banned. I believe Humble would’ve read my post above and realized I was playing the straight man and he would’ve sent the funny to the moon. You @shogun should realize that.

Lastly the I welcome the mods was a play on the Simpsons TV show when the news anchor believes they’re being invaded by aliens and say “I for one welcome our new Alien overlords”.

Stop taking this so serious. This thread was a hoot, and you are ruining it. We can all miss the banned but I for one come here to laugh. If you don’t like it tough. Block me, otherwise sit back and watch me make an ### out of myself...because I’ll be happy and enjoying it the whole time.

But but ...... What if it snows ? It's 110. Things could get real slippery real quick.
Them snowstorms when it's this hot out are the most rare and treacherous ones there are.
    Trust me.
I ain't never seen one but I've heard stories about 'em. Really scary stories.

    That’s awesome Jim. Congratulations.

My step son (the one that just graduated from Oklahoma State) just moved to Oxford a few weeks ago to start his new job.

Ya. No. It’s not your fence. It’s not your sandlot and for dang sure you’re not my boss. So do what you want. You’re not my problem.

    Rocks Thanks this.
