Could be, I was told 1 amp. Most people don't take DC voltage serious either. "But it's only 12 volts"!

Have two buddy's that are line men and they don't understand DC.

Father in law is a substation mechanic. That sheet scares the bejesus out of me 69k volts. I give everyone of them high regards for doing what they do.

That's how my A/C guy did it and how I've been doing it and how I described it in my 10,000 word instructional manual and it works for me, you gotta spray upwards though, at least on mine. And yes @Westbound23 , what they said, lol.

This reminds me of sitting at a truckstop and your bored, listening to the CB, and somebody is on asking for directions and he keeps asking and asking with no reply. Finally that brave soul gives directions then everybody and their brother is telling the guy that's not the way and then eleventeen people are trying to give their directions, lol.

Mine is a Carrier with fan on top like the top pick. I’ll shut it off in the breaker box in the garage and the breaker on the brick wall behind the unit That way there should be no power going to that unit at all Thanks ALL for the help

Nobody here is old enough to remember when Edison and Westinghouse had the big dust up about which type of electricity was more lethal. That was the begining of the electric chair!
