3,8,13 was our main channels lol. Channel 11 came around in the 80’s.
3,8,& 13 all have their towers out on Barkers Ridge not far from me. Channel 13 is the tallest at 1300 feet tall. -
There were so many engines combos, but 56 265 dual 4's available I think 265hp
1957 a 283,283hp dual 4's
Then the 283 fuelie with fuel injection only in a 2door sports coupe as a option. Not recalling hp, 310,320? -
Think I’m younger than you, but I can remember getting both.
Got color TV in the mid 70’s, and we got a window shaker A/C in 83 after uncle Lester passed away. -
Did you grow up on Shock Theatre?

When I worked for R&L Drilling we had rigs called Wagner Drills. They would mount inside the elevator shaft and run on the guide rails up and down the shaft. They were 3 phase rigs. Use to hook our 220 single phase welder into our 3 phase panel box, some just couldn’t get it lol. We only used the welder in short periods.

I hauled a 69 Camaro down to the Corvette museum in Bowling Green, KY for a Freind, hauled a orange / white 56 bel air back for my buddy. Gotta love the Tri-5’s!! Wish I would have kept my 55.....
Can you imagine one of today’s kids putting gas in this??
Hey...!!! No gas cap lol.

Even 70's-80's cars. My gutless cutlass was behind the licence plate. -
I don't know why your post made me think of this. Maybe because most of WV is pretty remote for broadcast signals. On an extended stop at the Bridgeport rest area I was pleasantly surprised to discover all the major networks coming in with strong signals. Apparently the "high ground" for Clarksburg, Fairmont, etc is just a few miles from there and bristling with tv transmitters.
My Dad's daily driver is a 92 Chevy 3500 with a 6/8 drop. One of those flip down license plate holders is used to hide the receiver hitch.Oxbow, cke, BigCam9670 and 15 others Thank this.
