Before the in laws sold their Shorthorn herd a couple years ago they had a bull named Kodiak that thought he was a lap dog. The wife's nieces (twins) had shown him as a cow/calf pair in Houston when he was little so he grew up not knowing any better, lol.

The problem is he’s a steer, now too tough for meat and he’s good for nothing. My plans this winter are to buy a new heard and make $ not have pets

Thanks partner. I was headed to the shop and passed it. Had to turn around.

60 days of cracked corn in his menu should tender him up quite a bit — or have 3 years worth of hamburger — we had a pet longhorn for 4 years is how I figured it out.

    “Generous Portions”

I paid 12 bucks for four triangles (two pieces of bread) French toast, one egg, and two skinny pieces of bacon.

Yeah. I’ll drive by next time as I should have. But this is one of those “western truck stops” of lore....had to stop and finally try it out. Stop again? No thanks.

    Wayside Cafe, exit 211.

Or the Sage at exit 29.

I've never stopped at the Stage Stop...guess I'm not missing out on anything

Those are my normal hidey holes out this way... along with the oasis in twin falls. I wanted some breakfast on my 30... should’ve pushed it to La Grande.

Oh well. Off to fuel and steer it towards Portland :)
