    @jamespmack as of Thursday I was ready to sell her. Replaced all brake lines 3 weekends ago. Decided to put her in service and start hauling. Tranny began to slip Thursday so I parked and was ready to sell. Spent today underneath with my Son. It was only the tranny lines. One more time good to go. Never ever buy a truck from the north :biggrin_25514:

    No, it is a purpose built safety chain bracket. I have opened chain links in the past, or cut one in half and welded them on. These are 3/8" diameter and have way more attachment surface than a chain link. I went back and looked, they were $2.24/each.
