So it turns out the fan switch is not why the AC quit. I have to order more parts and make another trip out here when it comes in.

 

Looks like a nice drive however. Do you charge per mile, or hour?

Both. They pay for my time from the time I leave my shop til I get back. The cost of the pickup I use to get out there is added on.

I figure if the JD or Cat dealers do it that way I should too. They probably charge more than I do though.

 

True that. I must admit that wasn't what came to mind first. More like: just because you can doesn't mean it's a good idea.

On the other hand, I wouldn't mind being his tire and footpeg dealer.
