    The wife and I go down to Destin two or three times a year. First place I want to go is McGuire's, they have a fine steak. I never knew they cooked them on flat iron though.

    Winnipeg to Dryden to Pickle Lake to Thunder Bay to Winnipeg in two and a half days. $320 a day. Man, I wish I could land a run that does this M-F. I didn't work much more than 12 hours a day and made it back home in time to watch the Jets game.

    Funny you should ask. 0418181648b.jpg
    We found this Wednesday evening. When the power company took the pole out of the backyard, they drove over it. We didn't know it was there. They pulled the pole out back in February.
    I guess it fell through after the last earthquake.

    I was going to move the dirt off the top and put a piece of plywood over the hole to keep the water out until I could get time to dig it out. When I uncovered it, the top was sagging and the hole in the cap was bigger than the hole in the grass and dirt.
    Money well spent to have the guy knocking down the burned out dope house dig it up. It was twice as long as what I thought.

    @whoopNride

    What the waiter told me is they have a flat iron surface about 700 degrees. You drop it on there and it instantly seers it and gives it the crusty texture. Then flip it over and let it do the other side, then cook til desired doneness. One of the best steaks I have ever eaten.
