Only after sitting. I can shut if off and restart immediately and it kicks off like I'd expect it to. Let it set and itll take quite a bit of cranking, itll be probably 20 minutes or so of setting and itll take a bit to restart.

Both of mine just have the APU lines teed into the rear bunk heater hoses back close to the apu case, so just 4 shutoffs on the engine and two pairs of lines. I get why you'd want each system separate, but seriously how often is that going to be an issue? It would at least get rid of 2 extra hoses up front. Besides, the APU should not be on at the same time as the bunk heater core. If I had to shut off the rear water lines, I'd just idle for a/c and the Espar heater still does it's thing if it's cold. If you want to cut off the rear heater core and leave the lines to the APU going, just add an extra valve back there to do it.

Whatever you do, plumb the valves up front away from the hot parts and leave enough room for pliers when they stick a little. I'll be looking into that probably next time I burn my hand.

I think I sat by this guy at a Iron Skillet one day. Was there a profile pic? About 500 on the hoof wearing an expired wife beater with matching one size fits all sweats? Dang... small world.

My Z-1 Kawasaki is an early electric start bike that still had a kick starter too. There was one summer I rode it about a month before I was able to cut into the partying and bad women budget to afford a new battery.

I never found my self in enough of a jam to own something that was total crap. Closest had to be the '73 Corolla I drove the first year I went to college. 1200 with a 4 speed. A little white turd. Not what I normally would have picked, but after some driving related trouble with the law my parents sort of insisted. It was trashed in about a year, but did get me from point A to point B until I was able to upgrade.

A few years before that, one of my high school friends used his brother's car while he was in the military. A 74 Mustang GT. Now THAT was a piece of crap. At least my Toyota rode good and didn't rattle.
