Wow that was alot to catch up to and great car stories from you folk. Moose is still waiting on the Vega settlement. On all 3 of them. (Slow learner)

Bet most will agree, everyone of them piles we look back on and what they did for us cheap and I know any new car on a lot can not compair to some of those sheeters we all used to complain about.

First car was

1971 buick lesabre 2 door from my grandfather. It killed me in gas, I could carry a ton of buddies to school. But decided on a smaller set of wheels for $250. With blown 231 v6 stick.



I yanked out the 6 and stuffed in a 350 out of a 74 Nova .
Ya. Almost lost my license for 10 yrs. When I raced a judges kid and beat him running for pinks. His kid who I raced wined to daddy. Who had the local PD come get me the next morning for illegal street racing.
Cause I beat his kid and he didn't want to hand over the pinkslip to his 78 mustangII cobra. I had to sell my car ode drive it to a junk yard. To have it crushed at the junk yard with a cop witnessed the crushing.

So I sold it to aguy in Harrisburg,pa.
Miss that little sleeper.

 

Doing great. Did the job yesterday.
I still have a lot of little improvements to make, but she's getting the job done.

I have the new spring and washer you recommended, but haven't installed them yet.
