Thank you. I've had my back up against the wall a time or two so I know how it feels. I think that's why I still walk straight because of the wall time.

It wasn't that I was planning on leaving it was more of being ostracized from the clan that I was thinking about, LOL.

 

I've been married to my son's mother going on 47 years so I know how he was raised. He's on his 4th and hopefully this one sticks. I think he used to go to the county lockup every Monday just to see who was getting out, and for a pack of smokes and a little food he would get a weeks worth of nookie. I told him to look for some hide that was in for embezzling a million bucks. At least she had some ambition. Did he listen? Hell no. He would find these women that got pinched for lifting a bic lighter or a quart of half and half.

 

Sorry to hear this, @IH Truck Guy. It's amazing how a four legged critter can become a best friend and family member.

Put the lid on that tote and put it up. Even if you don’t get another dog, you’ll run across that tote full of tennis balls from time to time and it’ll bring a smile.

I hate to criticize a town, but just went through Burns Lake, been through it many times, and I don't like it...could not live there.

 

I agree mostly.

Since you bring up the LGBTXYOIUDGHAPQEC people, examine their behavior, outside of their "behavior". It's not enough for them to be left to their own ends. The rest of us are told that if we don't approve, that there is someone wrong with us. We're bigoted and hateful, stupid and ignorant, uneducated buffoons, because we believe that their behavior is immoral.

Now look at some of these "drivers". They think people can be regulated into safe behavior on the road. What they fail to realize is the only thing more regulation has done, is to cause people who are responsible professionals, to leave the industry. These drivers have been "trained" by the companies they work for to have a lemming mentality.

If you don't agree with them, well you must not be very smart because Mr polo shirt and dockers in the classroom, who never drove a day in his life, told them so. The thing is though, some can be saved from it. Some will realize that they don't have to be average, that they can stand out. They will realize that if they man up, they can do extraordinary things in this industry.

Some try to show them with humor, some with education, some by sharing experiences. Yes it's unfortunate that there are those with thin skin that can't handle it when faced with their own stupidity and lack of intestinal fortitude, but why should they be the ones allowed to have all the influence over new drivers?

Wouldn't it be better if we spread our ideals, our way of living and working, rather than being isolated and shrinking in numbers?

And I certainly hope you don't leave us again. You're perspective is always appreciated.
