No shame on that.
I was just pointing out that for $100 bill you can get a cdl and have a line of jobs fighting over ya. Truck was from a local dealer/ shop and they charge another $100 to rent for the test.
This guy has 3 offers right now. They are not great offers but they are all local, and reasonable. They all do require a little delivery work but home every night.
Also he has a small established business that requires his attention on tuesdays and Thursday. He got his cdl to fill in the other 3 days. Still 3 places are fighting over him.

These were usually 238 and 318 Detroit powered with RTO 6613 transmissions. Which are more of a 15 speed than 13 but really neither lol. A few were big power V8 Detroits though. They have always been my favorite of all time. Maybe I will find a long hood Jimmy one these daysBigCam9670, Feedman, cke and 12 others Thank this.

@Lysdexis
The rear axle is 12” of bag height ( topmount to bottom mount). 3..25” bump stop to pad.
The front axle will be a little different.
If I recall the speck was 11.75 of bag height and 3” bump to pad height.
Mine is a little shorter in the front ( 1/2” maybe ) because the front springs got a million miles on them I guess. Anything different than this I had problems and dive ability issues.
At the end of the day I had a tire shake. The first drivel Line was not done well. It took me a little bit to have it done again. But new drives and having the yolk cut off and re welded back on ultimately solved it.Last edited: Aug 14, 2019
