Purple Nurple is still in Arlington. Decommissioned.

- Differentials run hot.
- 68 on the pedal, 70 on the cruise is annoying.
- jake isn’t anywhere as good as the Cummins.
- quiet ride and it doesn’t leak water so I gotta pay for showers again
- tripac APU doesn’t rattle my bed on startup. Still doesn’t keep up with 90+ temps... no surprise though.
- annoying alarm asks me to turn off headlights (markers) if I leave them on when I park. Only beeps when I open the door but still annoying.
- the radio (Bluetooth music from phone) goes out of sync and I can’t control it from the wheel.... happens at least once a day... but apparently Daimler can make autonomous braking full-proof.... can’t make a radio work 100% for one day but autonomous trucks are here? Ha, blow me.
- cruise control does the typical Freightliner nonsense where you may have to tap the brake for it to recognize a speed.
- I want a midroof (already rubbed the top on some low hanging trees at two of my stops this past week) guess I’ll buy a chainsaw?
- the fridge is huge!
- dedicated spot for a microwave that makes sense and doesn’t fall on bumps — well done
- cb antenna is a joke

 

I was under the impression that most states required a certain number of hours at an "accredited" driving school. Must be some kind of marketing scam.

 

If I’m bein honest, that ain’t a bad lookin ride.

I mean, don’t tell nobody I said that, and I dang sure wouldn’t be seen in it, and of course we are still gonna poke fun at it, but, ya know.
