But we can’t because the system fails without those of us that work and plan and can’t support those who don’t.

@wore out , did ya see what showed up?
Do you recommend purchasing the special socket and/or the retainer removal tool for changing these? I'm thinking it may cost me more to try to get by without the special tools than I would save by not buying them.

The socket isn't much, if you got a spare retainer you can make one

You ever research the history of workers compensation? That's a very interesting scam. Then you penalized when you use it. But you do have a choice to pay it or not. You do not have to pay SS or Medicare, you choose to. You could work a 1099, or under the table. Buy you choose to live the way you do. You always have a choice.

Yeah you can work under the table until your caught, 1099 is only legal under certain very specific circumstances. I’ll ask my boss Monday if I can opt out if SS and Medicare, I’ll bet I know the answer.

We're just starting to shop for modular homes now. It's a little late in the year to be starting this now but hopefully we can be ready to get it in next summer.

Absolutely 100%. When anyone is in a desperate situation, all other considerations go out the window.

Before we bought we looked at modular homes, I was impressed. Like anything else you get what you pay for but they build some darn nice ones.
