I can't remember the exit number, but at the exit to Mineral Wells is a little truck stop. I don't know if you are past the 406, but a truck stop there and a chrome shop. I'm a sucker for things like that.

I don't mind driving this thing, but if this were a company truck, I'd request aesthetic repairs be done (like the bumper) and washes whenever I need them (like after 400km down a gravel /mud road). But the owner is cheap, so he puts it off.
If my boss does what she says she wants to (put me into something that is geared towards what I like to keep me), then I'd have no trouble washing the thing myself at a do it yourself place. It would be my baby, just like the truck I asked for for over a year at New Hope and never got.
That little 379 short hood flat top I used last year hasn't been clean on the inside since apparently. I take care of the #### I'm given because I take great pride in this lifestyle and representing the company I drive for on the road. To do any less is to disrespect their trust in me. -
They tell me this ones leaving in favor if a new t680. I sent em a screenshot if a t660 I've had my eye on just for ####s and giggles to see what theyd say. This things got paint missing on the roof, an off white fender, rust streaks where one of the aforementioned roof panel brackets is at. The trailer looks like the paints faded to nothing and I could practically have the thing polished. I'd wash it because I've got 2 free washes a month. I just dont see the point if they arent going to do their part to keep it cosmetically nice ya knowFeedman, PoleCrusher, Al. Roper and 7 others Thank this.

I thought the 4L60 was fairly stout. I had one behind a 4.8L Vortec (302hp/305lb-ft). Diablo Predator tune, 3 inch straight pipe off the cats and a cold air intake. I also installed an extra transmission cooler up front as well. I drove the snot out of that truck and never had a single transmission issue in over 300k km. Towed 3-5k lbs over the Rockies once or twice too with it.
Feedman, dwells40, PoleCrusher and 10 others Thank this. -
I believe you're correct....when I worked for Cummins we saw a lot of those J.B. Hunt cabovers and everyone with a flat floor had an M11 in it. Pain in the rear to work on because the valve cover was about the only thing above the frame rail.Feedman, PoleCrusher, Oxbow and 10 others Thank this.

That’s probably an LS1, it’s hard to tell which turbos, but with enough fuel and boost it will make four digit POWAH
!!! The issue will be that 10 bolt rear end. I got a 76/65 new turbo that came with my silver truck,
I might buy a second and run twins on the 6.0 if I blow this 5.3 up.
They are mostly stock if I remember correctly, I think they have some fair prices on their 4L85 because it’s a GM performance build that can hold a lot of power reliably. -
My buddy had a black z34 5 speed 3.1 or 3.4. Poor farm kid that worked hard and bought it only a few years old. That little sheet was actually quick and would surprise the heck out of you.dwells40, PoleCrusher, Al. Roper and 7 others Thank this.
