I’ve been outta the house since January 8th...

    ... I know...

I ain’t one to complain but I’m mentally and physically feeling it right now. I’m turning whiny, hard to bring your A-game when you just feel like a slug. So my ### put in for 15 days off at the end of this month and beginning of June... and it had absolutely nothing to do with a DOT blitz or anything o_O

I bought some exhaust stack bushings from 4 States a while back and they're the squeakiest most annoying things I've ever heard. Ended up getting some from Kenworth last time I was home. And then forgot to put them in. The muffler was just enough to silence the drone, still has a throaty rumble like a truck should have.

I'm going to have to order the A/C vents in the dash from the dealer too. All the aftermarket ones I can find are that trashy looking cheap chrome. I just want black or grey.

The hood is another story...it's getting the typical KW cracks by the hood latch. I know it's going to need a new hood eventually but maybe I can find a way to keep it together a while longer.

I know that's the only right way to fix it. And doing it right will mean painting the whole truck.

We just wrap with bacon and put it in one of those perforated grill pans on the main grill with foil under the pan so the grease doesn't burn. Just keep turning it till the bacon is done. I just had it on foil on the top rack to keep it warm while I finished up the chicken.

It's funny how scruffy they look coming out of winter until they shed their coat.
