I've been meaning to ask you if you are aware of this other kind of corn that we have out here in the civilized world. It's called candy corn. It's really popular this time of year here coming up. Lots of the stuff gets sold around Thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas.
I'm not that crazy about it myself. Usually roasted corn with melted butter and salt is delicious ( but not to @stwik apparently ? ) but I tried to make some candy corn like that and it wasn't that good. Sticky gooey mess is what it was. Didn't even taste that good. Even after I kept adding more butter.
    Just got messier.

Anyhow, I don't know whether your ice soil could grow that crop but I thought it might be worth suggesting. Revenue is revenue right ?

No. I'm not sure that I have ever seen one other than in photos. Just not in demand here for some reason. Our dealer doesn't rent them anyway.

I remember you saying that your guys really like them.

Are they GPS ready with sensors in the cab and cylinders, or do they still use masts on the dozer?

Cat is tied in with Trimble and we run Top Con. The Top Con has a single mast in the middle of the blade then uses sensors mounted different places on the tractor to establish grade.

My system is all Trimble. The D6N that we are currently renting uses the two masts. The D6T that I rented last year had the machine control display in the dash. The N has an added mount above the dozer joystick. I have gotten used to it, but it is hard on the eyes being that close to your face. I use glasses for distance but the display is too close to my face to see with glasses.
