Where is everyone?

That is the proper advice for a trade show anywhere. I occasionally get calls for them in Miami or Orlando. The first words out of my mouth are $100 an hour after 2 hours, no cap. If the broker/agent balks, that tells me they don't know the trade show game and it's not worth my time or frustration. The few times I've done them, I've never needed detention, but I've spoken to more than a few drivers who could have put up a mailbox in a marshalling yard.

 

Feeling better than I was earlier, nose is stuffed up but nothing nasal spray won't fix.
Sucks being cooped in a truck all day with little access to medicine, but that's what the sleeper is for. Did it thhe old way, fluids and rest. Still got a slightly high fever.

 

Im in Remington, In ....this Petro sucks... Shower smelled like kitty litter....and this freakin Smith truck has a loud mudder bleepin Rig Master that keeps makin a loud sound like alternator belts rubbin every 3 blankety blank minutes....This is why I short haul and sleep at home as much as I can now!!!!

Insert, depending on where you've been recently, you might want to go get checked for West Nile Virus.....flu-like symptoms are one of the misleading indicators that it could be something worse, like the flesh-eating virus. I may be off here, but hey, the sooner you know the sooner you can survive....and this brings up one of the problems with the OTR lifestyle.
