Turbo and CAC isn't too bad, done it before. Now changing out a radiator in the parking lot is a biotch!!!! Did that 2 years ago at the Baytown T/A in July. Not fun at all
Where is everyone?

still sitting at york, pa.
Well the trl. is.
Us the 4 trks. are in Carlise. Such a lovely place.
We finally get lded. at 1 pm today. Then no paperwork.
Seems like the gov. insp. person has issues with the units, so he will not sign off on the releases.
These 3 short runs to Baltimore has been a cluster.
Only thing making it better is the det. rate. We are even on the clock this wkend. seeing how the lds. are not really released even though they are on our trls. $$$$ -
Makes nice $$$ for you passingthru, I bet you have found some nice little local places to eat and hang out, are you buying yourself a hotel?

There are no trkstps in York with showers and such.
Wens. night we went to the dump in Gettysburg off of hwy.15. Used the shower there. Will not do that one again.

no breakdown, have been fighting with section of crane boom that spans my front and back decks. the rear is cribbed up almost 2 feet.
the boom doesn't weigh much and keeps threatening to walk of one side where the dunnage is too short.
good thing I don't get paid by the as I only managed 323 miles in12hours today -
Urine lot at Toms Brook, whada zoo!
SHC Thanks this. -
Chris cross chains and another one over the bottom rung for good measure always did it for me.SHC Thanks this. -
I was gonna say, if you X the chains then it shouldn't move from side to side..... at least in theory LOL
-
thin wall latice boom, so no chains and no straps or dunnage in the well. if I could chain it -no problem and no tow truck - i would have just used a chain and rachet to move it myself
everthing abiut this load has sucked, it is the ugliest load i have ever hauled on my double drop.
I know for the next time to have much longer dunnage or better yet pass on it -
Understand about no securement where no support is available, but could you criss cross on the ends with a 3rd strap or chain across?
Not a expert by any means but did so many crane moves my head hurts to think about it.
