You can tell it's getting close to winter.... all the loads are now requiring tarps once again. Looks like i will be sitting at home till monday, and we shall see what comes available.Might be a very slow start to coming back

 

Loading Monday in at the airport in Alexandria, LA for CA, again. If only they could provide me with a name number and location of the item so when I dhow up at the terminal on Monday I don't have to ask a skycap directions.......

 

I've been trying to get out all week myself, SHC. I sold my trailer on eBay and I am delivering it to Pittsburgh. I've got a lead sled reserved with Brenda. I think by the time she offers me a 51' I'll have already spec'ed, ordered and received my new trailer.

 

Well since its friday and all I am sitting at the house.. Leave out sunday night though.

 

Well, I got on the list for a 51' step back in February and still have not recieved a call. So don't hold your breath....

On a side note, I was able to book an OS load to Altoona, PA for BNSF Railroad. Pays good too with no tarps

 

No, I order my permits thru Comdata and they ask for my prefered routing. It inevitably ends up being up to each state to approve it tho. Illinois lets you route yourself, I also have an IN annual permit so I route myself there as well. Ohio and PA are a whole other breed tho. Luckily the load is under 10' wide so it shouldn't be a big deal.....hopefully.
