Where is everyone?

Same as above, well not a couch, my bed. taking a break waiting on someone to tell me what bay to go to. Sent a detention in and got pulled in the gates, Now waiting on a bay. And just before I click "Post" a O/O's trailer falls apart has he pulls out. FREE PLYWOOD!

 

Ok, this hotel is super boring. Not even any good eye-candy in the hot tub. Wish this load would have picked up in Vegas instead LOL

 

Sharonville, Ohio doing a reset. Rack of ribs, red beans and rice, collard greens and corn bread for dinner from Jim Dandy's.

 

Still sitting here, called night dispatch and I have $100 in detention so far. Gonna take my 10 in the next hour. Welcome to a Lowe's DC, getting ready to drop the trailer and take it to the McD for a late dinner.

 

Good luck, most McD's close the lobby at midnight. Only the drive-thru is open 24hrs.... unless it's at the truckstop

Whatever, at least I will be able to run the APU without someone chewing me out. Got off the phone with dispatch, "Do what you have to to sty alive man!" Guess I can bobtail, but gotta come back first thing tomorrow.

 

i havn't dealt with a lowes dc in a few years but i do remember they were anal about idling. would have to go outside their gate to the staging area to idle... what a joke its 100 degrees outside you sit in here with me and ill shut it down

 

Backed into the bay, guess someone from Clayton called down. Handed over all the info and they got 3 forklifts back there getting my load. Their bringing it out and setting it down on the floor to be tagged.

Got it loaded and strapped, no tarp! Gonna go shut it down at the McD.
"LIAR! UNREAL TIME!" its called doing your job. Hats off to the forklifts(3) for loading it as soon as it was tagged. Also thanks to a TMC driver who helped me strap while his truck was being loaded. Gave him $10 off hand.
