No not with Mercer. These particular ones never hit the Load Boards or any brokers. I have hauled in and out of these places and only live 5 miles south of them. Usually when I load out during the week they ask if I want to run em. If I say no then they ask another local. Hope they never make a load board because the rate would probably drop alot.

$8 per hour? Hope that was only driver's wages and I still wouldn't do that.

I don't know about anywhere else but these that I haul I pull from on company and go across the street to a different company. I pull a wagon so I throw my tarp when I arrive at the shipper and I load 1 42,000 coil throw a couple chains and pull across the road which total is 1/4 mile. The reciever is expecting me and gets me unloaded fast. I leave my tarp thrown over and book right back to reciever and do it over again. I run 5 loaded trips and after my 5th coil I reload at the reciever for my monday load and go home for the rest of my weekend and I am ready to roll for monday. If I could do these daily I would be all over them but they only run me once a month doing these as they are whats left that they don't want to waste a railcar on. If you found a place to do this and it was so close together like these then you should do pretty good.
