Was out almost 5 weeks this last trip. So yeah, leisure trucking it is. Besides rates have fallen and someone mentioned snow is coming.

Honestly, a flatbed is better suited for work in my home area, but I don't do everyday flatbed freight. I try to stick to LTL, Oversize and Speciality stuff for the most part. Most all my loads can go either a step or a flat. And this step has a 41' bottom and 10' top with can locks. So it will open up some taller loads for me and containers. I couldn't pull containers with my flat because they killed my MPG with the flattop truck. Lower trailer will help fix that lol

i use to hate pullin cans on my regular flats, but on a step i don't mind at all now if i just had can locks it would be even better

I get some good rates out of that port.

bringing an o/s in from amsterdam ny and this load has been a nightmare most of the reason has been originating since i crossed the pa/md state line
