    thats new. clutch and hub. each $495
    at kw. no discount. freightliner wants $100 more which is a switch


    the clutch seals are leaking the hub has some play in thr bearings so i am replacing both. i am looking into reman now. i can get the rebuild kirs for a few hundred but cant get them this week and i dont have a press but for the price difference i could buy one

    When I rebuilt mine I took it apart and handed the local shop $20 to press the old one out and the new one in. The only thing I had to buy was a pretty big socket that I have never used again. Rebuild it yourself, its not that hard and is half the money of any other option.

    btw the reason the cats eat these things is the fans are so big the clutches are not up to the task so when they engage they slip amd when they slip they get hot. the heat destroys the bearings and seals

    san antonio tx finally found a polish guy he's going after the truck now seems to be doing a good job full of fuel all weighed up after this guy gets done im ready to get out here

    HOME! Got back last night from Silver Grove, KY. Talk about traffic and morons out yesterday! The reasons why I hate my job around the holidays, people who shouldn't have a license driving around me and my truck cant go fast enough to pass them!!!

    Yeah, people who never leave their 30 mile home area bubble, out on the roads traveling for 8 hours with limited sleep and kids driving them crazy, going 80mph.... and they say truckers need EOBR's lol

    everyone parked next to me is quite annoyed cuz the reefer is currently defrosting and clanging away. Can't wait to get rid of this miserable
