Too close to my holiday and money is kinda tight.. Bad enough I lost 2 different lds. as the people here did not get the cranes here to off load us guys.
They finally moved 1 out this morning for off load...

I really like mawson & mawson's 27% and nice equipment but im not all about cookie cutter trucks with auto shift...

I got a new dip #### dispatcher 2 weeks ago and my miles are what i used to run in a daycab...

 

Im just passing thru on my way to Iowa. Last time I was in denver empty i bounced to council bluffs ia.

 

logan76, what happened? Thought you liked where you are at?

 

Seems like you had a good relationship with the owners. Maybe you should try talking to them about the situation before jumping ship. I know I would love to have the opportunity to address a problem for a good driver before they quit.

Just having a little down time. I am not one to over dramatize, but things couldn't possibly be going better. Amazing resort, great weather, great friends, beautiful wife, and hardly a peep from the office. JP must be keeping the old man in line. I have a picture of the amazing view from our patio, but the picture is too large and I am in vacation mode, so I am too lazy to try to figure out how to shrink it. One of the best parts of the trip is the volleyball. Myself and the other 2 guys are good players, and we have been playing intense games against the staff. Jump serves, big spikes, etc. I have been getting a better workout on vacation than I do when I go to the gym.

 

I took care of it for you. Got a great deal on the injector labor plus diamond seal for $520, out of the shop by 1pm, parked at the space I rent, only to have someone try to take off my hood. I'm just glad I hadn't left yet, as I doubt he would have left a note.Two truck company that's parked near me for years, so the owner is going to buy me a new grill bezel when he gets in Monday. $470 for the passenger side!!!

 

They are good people and the checks never bounce...

The work is hard we put up and tear down side kits and then throw tarps, haul any kind of open deck freight you can imagine...i like the diversity

I was getting 3000 to 3500 miles a week, about 1400 to 1500$ a week in pay, now they moved our old dispatcher to brokering and hired a new fella and seems like I'm doing more short hauls and being paid mileage that kills me....

I just like to work, i don't sleep 5 nights a week in my truck away from my beautiful wife to see sights or sit up in a truck stop drinking coffee and telling lies... I'm here to pay the bills.

Cpape, I'm going to talk to that new dispatcher and try to tell him i would like more miles.
