still home this thing with the wife working is going pretty well. I have not hauled a load since October 5th but I guess I will go back to work in January. I have screwed around way too much this year.Got to get all new chains and binders and straps and coil racks and a couple other things since my boy confiscated most of my stuff.

Took a load to Miami Fl, Delivered it on the 7th! There were a ton of loads running back and forth to Ga. when I took this ld. I get here and nothing. the agent i was dealing with puts me on permahold or plain just don't answer the phone. wanted to be heere for the holidays but figured i could run a bit while here. Guess i thought wrong..lol No worries. DH to North port. Sittin with the Folks that I havent seen in over 2 years getting some extra time with them. probably going to have to DH 500 more miles to GA after Christmas to get a move on. Oh well I guess we'll call it 2 1/2 weeks unpaid Vac. time..

Loading a van load from north of Pittsburgh to Ardmore OK

looks like i'm going to run out across 44 out of st. Louis and down 35...

I may run back across Arkansas and through Tennessee just for something different...


I also have a load lined up for Wed. AM deliver in bedford NH next week so the miles are getting better, woohoo.

 

Just got the steel off that I loaded this morning now off MN with my next load.

 

Is TMC pulling steel into JD from Indiana now as well??? I used to load with a lot of TMC trucks at the port of indiana but never saw them at the JD factory.

 

Well, i unloaded my JIT load this morning in Abredeen, OH and couldn't find squat going back north. Everything was going to FL/AZ/CA/TX.... and normally that would be great, but I need to be home for this Christmas, so i decided to DH home. Halfway there I got a call from my local guy who asked if I was going to be home for X-mas and offered me a load to P/U tomorrow in my hometown and sit on it till after X-mas going to Odessa, TX. So what the heck, why not. So he called me back and said the shiper is going to pay me a daily rate to hold it and leave out on the 26th for Texas. In the end, it worked out pretty well
