Well, if ya know what's good for ya, you'll stay up there. It's not too bad here yet, but some guys are telling me it's a complete white-out 30 miles south.

Well, after going into Dundalk for a load, finding out it left a couple of weeks ago, leaving, going back for another load, and then finding out it was still on the ship, I told them where to go, and D/H'd home. Screw 'em, taking the rest of the year off.
Thus, I am sat on my couch with a cold beverage!
Merry Christmas to all, and hopefully all who want to be home, make it there safe and sound.

The food is still fantastic and really affordable. Love their catfish and fried okra and excellent lemon meringue pie. Love that place. PLUS you can always get parking there no matter what time of the night you show up. You got to stop there the next time your running I-30.

Argh.....that sucks.
Well if you were here, I'm still here.
. This is what I hate about Houston area. They leave me here a day, and then will DH me somewhere. We almost had a load, but they wanted it loaded by 4:00. I got word to call the Landstar dispatch at about 2:30....then found out they wanted a Friday...before 4:00 delivery.. informed them I have a 65 mph truck and this late in the day it wouldn't get delivered till Saturday under those parameters.
They were willing to let me sit on it till Wednesday next, but I told them they'd have to check with dispatch....needless to say I didn't go.
We'll try again tomorrow.

The TA in Coachella, CA with room to nose in or back in

Like SHC said, depends on the state. There's kind of a "standard" 3 ft of the back is not oversize, but it depends on where you are and where you go. Some allow both front and back overhangs within certain amounts, some only allow one, or the other, or neither.... so you really have to know what and where.
If you're curious and/or intend to haul OS get yourself one of those Oversize books at the TS. They have a lot of the dimensions in for the different states...but as usual, before you actually haul, recheck permits for any changes in the states you're going to run.
