Yeah, I used to drive by the George Brown Convention Center every week, and it seemed like at least once a month there was a gun show going on there. Our gun laws here in Indiana are about the same as Texas, but ever since last Friday things have been going crazy. I have all the weapons I need, but a guy came in trying to get $400 for his Glock 27 and the Pawn guys were only going to give him $300. I pulled out $400 cash and took it off his hands. My buddy is a dealer and did the paperwork for the transfer for me, so it's all good. Brand new in the box with 3 clips and night sights and stainless barrel. I'm not a big .40 fan, but the price was right for me. Will prob sit in the closet with all the other Glocks, H&K's and Rock Island AR's lol

Yeah, a friend of mine was listening to a guy talking about his last purchase....dude said he went up to the clerk, asked how many AR's he had. Clerk said 6, guy bought em all...That seems like a little overkill to me, but people tend to get a little over zealous when things like this happen. I'm hoping to get to the gun show early Saturday morning, and hopefully can buy a decent amount of ammo before the nuts buy em all out. lol

Buying my AR this weekend. Going to add to my collection. If anybody is looking for a great scope there is a new company out there started up by some designers at Leopold. Cheap and great quality! Friend told me about them. He did an 8" grouping at 1180 yards with the sight and a. 308 rem 700.

Good luck, all 5 dealers in my home area are sold out of AR's.... after Obama's speach yesterday they said everything flew off the shelves. Not a single one of the dealers believes that any type of gun ban will go into effect, but they sure were not complaining about the sales LOL

That's not good.... I had my phone ring off the hook today. Everyone wanting me to load up and haul crap 1,500 miles by monday. the shippers were willing to pay very well to get their stuff out and delivered by Monday morning as well. I am already loaded and babysitting a load, or i might have been tempted to leave out and miss X-Mas this year. Some of the rates were quite unbelieveable to me. One guy had a load from Elgin to Miami and the shipper had an open pocketbook I guess, name my rate. I told him for me to go to Miami, miss x-mas and spend a few days down there, it would run about $7,500. he told me that the guy said anything under $8k was a GO and to get them in and loaded up. i passed the info along to a guy in the next town over, he is an approved LS carrier. he got the $7,500 and is on his way to Miami now with 20' of loaded deck and 8,900#'s..... his son is bringing me a case of beer here in a little bit ;)
